JOYSPOON
MUKHWAS
Reimagining Joyspoon's Pachak Combo as a unified product, this project explores a redesign that moves beyond simply re-packaging the jars. It reimagines the Pachak Combo into a travel-friendly, premium yet approachable pack that highlights ingredients visually, works as a gifting option, and creates a differentiated shelf presence.

Year
A reimagined Pachak combo for everyday use and gifting purposes.

Why Mukhwas?
Because mukhwas is an everyday Indian ritual- simple, functional, and culturally rooted making it ideal to modernise through design without losing familiarity.

Problem
Joyspoon’s Pachak Combo series isn’t shelf-active as a combo unit and current packaging formats offered by Joyspoon fail to address the needs of modern, on-the-go consumption habits.

Opportunity
To make the product shelf active as a combo unit with keeping it hygienic, travel-friendly, and gifting-oriented ensuring strong shelf impact and clear flavor recognition.
Not a direct redesign but, a strategic rethinking.
The idea was to expand Joyspoon’s offering by launching the Pachak Combo as Mukhwas Minis, a sub range with new structural and visual packaging format that works individually, visibly, and accessibly.
Consumers can carry a single flavour pack separately, making it travel-friendly, hygienic, and easy to use on the go, while still enjoying the option of a complete combo set.

The redesign aimed to make the product compact, hygienic, travel-friendly, and gifting-oriented, while ensuring strong shelf impact and clear flavor recognition.

SURFACE GRAPHICS
The surface graphics build an ingredient focused identity using illustrations that can adapt across flavors while keeping the brand consistent.
A clean vertical reading flow: brand → flavor → imagery makes it easy for consumers to identify the variant at a glance while maintaining consistency across different flavors.

Relief Munch (Purple)
Cooling, calming, post-meal ease.
Digestive Fiesta (Deep Green)
Herbal, active, punchy.
Sweet Neem (Brown)
Bittersweet, earthy, rooted.
CUSTOM DIELINE
This layout uses a custom dieline with an inward-folding base tray, allowing the pack to lock into itself without extra inserts. The structure keeps the form compact while still giving enough front surface for branding and product storytelling.
